Huckstepp Constructions were referred to me by a friend who also had work done by the company. I engaged Huckstepp Constructions in 2012 to undertake a complex extension involving excavating underneath my house to build a rumpus room while supporting the house above and also constructing a new laundry and internal stairs.
I was extremely pleased that the job went off without a hitch and without any unexpected variations. I found the quality of the workmanship to be of high-standard and was equally impressed with the communication skills of the company principal Mr Glenn Huckstepp.
In 2014 I was happy to once again engage Huckstepp Constructions to undertake a large extension including two upper floor bedrooms and bathroom above a new three car garage, a new entry, as well as a new kitchen. This project was made all the more difficult for the company as my family and I remained in the existing house while the work was being undertaken.
I could not have been more satisfied with both the construction of the project as well how they handled the issues of us remaining in the house. The work areas were cleaned and sealed each night and the communication of what needed to be done each day was first class. The project was completed on time and on budget. A couple of design issues that arose during the construction were explained clearly and resolved with a minimum of fuss and expense.
Twelve months after the completion of the project we remain impressed with the quality of the job and my family and I are enjoying our ‘new’ house.
